Whoo hoo! Psymonthly!! Right on, Jason! Can't wait to see what you guys
put together on that, but I know it's gonna be solid. Let's unite and
strengthen this community even more.

So, yeah, this retro-petition that's going around. In addition to what
Trent said i.e. Gil's role in our global community is to innovate, not to
nostaligize... i just wanted to add that we had a killer retro party here in
SF recently featuring a lot of real serious elder djs within the San
Francisco scene. Why not focus our efforts on taking that to the forests,
outdoors where Goa trance belongs? Or throw a retro party at the horse
stables for a beachside Goa vibe. A retro party with a diversity of local
djs could provide multiple visions of a classic sound to the audience and
electrify many of us diehards who remember those sounds, or who maybe joined
up a year or two too late to remember the 90s sound but who appreciate it
anyway. (Let's face it, I don't see a "new generation" connecting with 90s
production. The kids want to hear new music).

Moreover, if you really really want Gil to provide your nostalgic
soundscapes or to hear the old-unreleased stuff on DAT, wouldn't it be more
respectful to contact him as a production crew via private email, rather
than petitioning him like a political candidate?

Just a thought. All that being said, all the power in the world to you in
connecting us to our lineage and roots.
